It looks like we might be getting a new version of Widsets in the form of Widsets 2.0 as the recently released Widsets 2.0 beta indicates.  New features include better integration between Widsets and the rest of the device including the ability to initiate a phone call or open a browser window. The beta version can be downloaded here. Interesting how using my current Widsets account I could login and download the new version. It was only until I registered using my existing email, username and password was I allowed to download the new version which doesn’t replace Widsets 1, but rather creates another separate app. The newer version does seem to run smoother and start up much faster.
