Akoz,the audio quality is mostly affected by hardware, so most likely the software can not make up for the lacking audio hardware on the N95.

how about an update ? N95: V30->V31 …

and that said:
1. More faster than the old one
2. Call ending bug is fixed
3. Slightly faster Auto Screen rotation
4. Slightly louder and bit clearer loudspeakers
5. Faster GPS Lock
6. Smoother fonts
I agree on all points. Plus the loudspeakers are now MUCH better. Try using them with STEREO WIDENING on. In previous firmware it used to lack quality but now it sounds crystal clear.
just to try after saving all my parameters and expecting no fail updating … ?

hehe, well well, with that … you just say me: bad choice for audio… but really no solution there ?
do you know what makes the ’1 series so good ?
i’ve found the N95 sounds not so good, a bit to metallized or so … but i don’t yet used the equalizer … a chance to repair ?
the fact is that the ambient sound seems better than the headphones with some “3D” reverb …do you ?

AkoZ, sadly the sound quality can NOT be improved with simple software. But I can tell you that the N81, 5800 XpressMusic sound incredibly good.

well that’s interesting, i’ve found my new expected good phone, N95 has a bad sound ! … how to improve that with an other firmware or is it due to a less quality chipset ?
any software solutions ?

I can’t undestand whats up with nokia audio at N-series, any sony ericsson even mid-range price (ie:w580) has better audio quality than n95, n80 and n82 I’m talking about testing em with good quality Earphones.
I didn’t have te occasion to hear a N81, but i still don’t understand why one of them is good and the others are crap all of em are expensive phones, with a large multimedia support, but the audio quality is disgusting.
