There is another problem with White. In certain lighting conditions – dawn, dusk, dim rooms, the backlight comes on “white” which means the key ledgends disappear – you need to hide your phone under your clothes or light the keyboard to make it visible.

Who (what guy, that is)would want a white phone? It simply screams “gay”. Not to mention it’s very difficult to read the keys on a white background. If you bought a white one and it is discoloring, it serves you right.

I wanted the N97 in white, but im with Vodafone and they only offer the Black at the moment. Still happy with it though

Use a Mr. Clean Magic Clean Eraser. It does WONDERS on anything white. Sneakers, MacBooks, etc. Give that a go.

I’m looking to buy the N97 by December. Hopefully the units won’t be affected much by the colour change.
