Useragent2

A Recent change at Facebook is now pushing the N900’s browser directly to the mobile page. While you could always scroll all the way down and choose “Touch Site”  and when that page loads scroll all the way down again and choose “Full Site.” These settings won’t saved and you will have to do this each time.

Useragent3

An easier way to get around this is to install an application called “Hide User Agent” from the N900 Extras-Devel repositories. Here are the steps:

Useragent

1.Install ‘Hide User Agent’

2.Restart N900

3. Open the N900 Settings and select under Connectivity the “Hide User Agent”.

4.Select User Agent and copy the user agent text for the desired mobile device below. (See below)

5.Select Set and open the web browser, now running as your desired mobile device

6.To return the N900 to its default settings, go back to settings, under Connectivity choose “Hide User Agent”and select Remove.
